Rectify and Ratify

So many things happened during my hiatus

all but what my father and mother actually sent me to school to do😭

busy following small boys in different continents, let my mother just catch me first🤣

Low-key, I’m happy I didn’t write for a while. Writing every single thing that popped up in my head would’ve have been incredibly chaotic and overwhelming.

I wouldn’t even lie, this semester has been a whole lot and I haven’t still figured out how to navigate it. It’s something that has weighed heavy on my mind since the beginning.

Things I can’t explain are happening to me. I’m losing sleep but I’m oversleeping. I’m playing all the time but I feel like I don’t give my friends attention. I’m always watching one thing or the other but it’s like I have no free time. I’m always studying but I feel like I’m very behind on school work

The club is the only thing that seems to be going well and that gives me some sort of peace

It’s not even like everything i wanted is happening but it’s not as chaotic. It doesn’t even have much of a choice than to go well with all the work we put in because how embarrassing would that have been for “Madam IP” (that’s me btw)

yeah for those who don’t know, I was made the president of my school’s intellectual property club. Huge right? I know. Too shy too shy🤭

A friend advised me to try and switch up my routine, because I’m used to living very regimentally, maybe switching up and getting used to a new normal would make things better. I have turn that thing upside down at least 50 times and I still feel like I the weight of the world is on my shoulders.

I know I always say that you should move at your own pace and not compare yourself to other people but omo, there’s a girl in my class that I share supervisors with and is also and executive in the club; this girl has written like two articles or so, has a job and is working, makes content consistently, submits her assignments timely, attends classes, and like wow wow wow. Basically what I’m saying is I can do better if I just figure out.

So my solution is to not look for a solution. It actaully came to meduring my company law class while my lecture was explaining alterations of articles and memorandums of association

I can’t explain to you how this relates rn but I just felt saying it, s/o to Professor Chigbo sha

So basically, this year is gone, so, in view of 2024, I’m going to be rectifying and ratifying.

I’m big on resolutions but my resolutions are usually a list of things I’ll be doing and not doing. This time, I’m just going to be changing the way I do the things I do already. I’ll still add or remove things but that won’t be the essence of my resolutions this time.

I watched Force and you guys should know by now that Power Universe is the bane of my existence.

I started The Boys and I won’t even lie, I don’t understand what’s happening there. Someone said they focus too much on making it disturbing and I agree because if you ask me what the storyline is now, I can’t tell you.

So many of my faves released new projects!!!! Odeal, Shallipopi, Lil Wayne and 2Chainz, Drake, Teni, Boj and Ajebutter, Santi, NSG, and I don’t know if Pan African Rockstar was released during my hiatus but Lady Donli is HER!

I also started listening to some new artistes, Bloody Civilian and Efosa and I absolutely LOVE them.

Bloody Civilian, Ayra Starr, Tems, Asake, Tyla, and Olamide were nominated for Grammy’s!!!!!! Proud fan moment for me fr 🙈

I’ve also been watching a lot of YouTube as well, my regular guys; Dimma, Korty, Nella and Indiyah (I don’t think I’ve mentioned that I watch to them here), and obviously Adesuwa.
